Honestly, People.

Tonight, for the fourth time in as many months, I was asked a version of the question "When are you due?". This would be barely tolerable IF I WAS PREGNANT, but I'm not.

Listen. I don't care who asks the next time, or says (as in the case tonight) "Oh, so I see we're adding another one to your brood!". I will not laugh it off, or help make you feel better, or lightly toss out some silly remark that will make you laugh.

I will not be sweet. I will not help you out of the mess your mouth created. I will try to refrain from punting you as far as I can, but that is not a promise.

This is getting ridiculous.

My question is, "What DID you say?"

I have 8 month old triplets so I feel your pain here. What really got me was when a lady asked me if I was the mom or the grandmother...I'm 31. I wish I wasn't in shock when she asked (I seriously just stood there looking puzzled) and that I had let her have it!

Becky - my standard response is a forced, light laugh, followed by something along the lines of "yeah, the trips sure did a number on my body!" and a walk away. Then fuming for days and attempting to not eat everything in sight (which is what I do when I'm angry). Double ugh.
